What happened to the twins from Ghostbusters?
11:40 AM PT -- According to the medical examiner ... Henry committed suicide by hanging himself. He was discovered by his brother in his apartment, who cut him down and called 911, but it was too late. One of the twins who played Baby Oscar in "Ghostbusters II" has committed suicide ...
Henry J. Deutschendorf II, one of two twin boys who played Baby Oscar in the 1989 film “Ghostbusters II,” took his own life at his Escondido, Calif., home last week, a spokeswoman for the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office told TheWrap on Wednesday. He was 29.
In the Ghostbusters II August 5, 1988 draft, Oscar is a baby boy who has no name throughout the script. He is the son of Lane Walker and Jason Locke (Vigo). The baby is stated to be nine months old and in the movie, Oscar is about eight months old.
Abby and Erin entered the portal ca. 1976 and exited in 2016 (or whenever the movie takes place). Their hair turned white because they had rapidly "aged" forty years.
Though it is not stated she is autistic, it is evident that she may be on the spectrum. Phoebe's mum describes her as suffering from "bad co-ordination", and is constantly trying to help her open up and converse with people, which her brother says is "bad advice".
The site reports that Bill Murray's Peter Venkman was actually the father of Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) newborn son Oscar, who was introduced in Ghostbusters 2.
Henry and his twin brother, William, played the infant son of Sigourney Weaver's Dana Barrett in the comedy blockbuster sequel.
Henry "Hank" Deutschendorf, who played baby Oscar in 1989's "Ghostbusters II," has died at age 28. Deutschendorf, who shared the role with his twin brother Will, was found by his brother in his Escondido, California apartment according to E! News, citing the coroner's report that called the death a suicide by hanging.
"No, Ghostbusters II, definitely canon," Reitman said. "There are references to Ghostbusters II in Afterlife. We meet Ray working at Ray's Occult.
Is the Titanic in Ghostbusters 2?
In the 1989 sequel Ghostbusters II, a buildup of psychomagnotheric mood slime beneath the streets of New York turns the city into a melting pot of paranormal activity, manifesting a number of the film's most spine-tingling visuals, among them the “better late than never” arrival of the Titanic.
Terror Dogs are large and bulky monsters vaguely resembling actual dogs but have horns and glowing eyes as well as a degree of intelligence and can possess human beings as vessels. The most famous Terror Dogs in Ghostbusters canon were the two loyal servants of Gozer known as Zuul and Vinz Clortho.
In the film, it is retroactively established by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan (with acknowledgements from two of the franchise's creators Dan Aykroyd and Ivan Reitman and Harold Ramis's family as canon), that Egon fathered his daughter Callie in 1982 before the events of the first film.
The father of her baby is never mentioned in the movies. While it is implied that Dana and Tully (Rick Moranis) did get intimate, he couldn't be the father because the events of GB 2 take place 5 years later. The father of her baby is never mentioned in the movies.
Callie Spengler is the daughter of Egon Spengler and the mother of the two children Phoebe and Trevor. They moved into their grandfather's old rundown farmhouse near Summerville.
Psychomagnotheric Slime (also known as Mood Slime and Psycho-Reactive Slime) is a powerful psycho-reactive plasm in Ghostbusters II and Ghostbusters: The Video Game that responds to human emotional states, both positive and negative, from which its reactions depends.
Slimer was voiced by Ivan Reitman and Adam Ray in the films and by Frank Welker in the animated series. In The Real Ghostbusters, he is the Ghostbusters' mascot and friend (unlike the films, where he is a ghost who needs to be busted).
Slimer (also known as Onionhead , Little Spud, or The Green Ghost) was a ghost made up of pure Ectoplasm and the first ghost successfully captured by the Ghostbusters. Slimer is well known for his gigantic appetite and the slime he leaves behind when he passes through solid objects.
Being a ghost in the realm of the living could also take a certain amount of energy. Whatever spectral energy he used to make himself visible to others, interact with objects, and remain in the living world for as long as he did probably prevented him from also speaking.
Supported by Egon's now-visible ghost, Phoebe battles Gozer with her grandfather's proton pack. The Ghostbusters help Phoebe restrain Gozer by crossing their proton streams while Trevor uses his to charge the traps' power source, allowing Callie to activate the ghost traps and capture Gozer and its minions.
Who is the girl with glasses in Ghostbusters: Afterlife?
Mckenna Grace is an actress that appeared in Ghostbusters: Afterlife as Phoebe Spengler.
Ghostbusters II (1989)
Also, Peter and Dana's relationship faltered due to his fear of commitment and taking her for granted. She left for her male colleague in the orchestra, married him and had a child. He unexpectedly "ditched" her for an opportunity leaving her and his son behind.
Dana Barrett is the love interest of Peter Venkman in the 1984 comedy movie, Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2. She is also the unrequited love to her neighbor, Louis Tully in the first film.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife picks up with a new generation of heroes who uncover artifacts from the original gang, and centers around the grandchildren of Harold Ramis's character Egon Spengler.
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” — directed by Jason Reitman, son of “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman — is something different, more of a fantastical action-comedy. And it's not just because “Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard has a primary role in the film.
Janosz kidnaps Oscar from Dana.
Phoebe Spengler (also known as Pheebs) is the daughter of Callie, sister of Trevor, and granddaughter of Egon Spengler.
Phoebe Spengler, granddaughter of Ghostbuster Egon saves the day in the latest supernatural sequel. What they don't mention is that heroine Phoebe is neurodivergent, and it is her autistic personality traits that make her a hero.
Oscar Barrett (played by William T. Deutschendorf and Hank J. Deutschendorf II) is Dana Barrett's baby boy, born 8 months prior to the beginning of Ghostbusters II. He is nearly sacrificed to serve as a new earthly incarnation of Vigo the Carpathian, but is saved by the Ghostbusters.
In GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE, siblings Trevor (Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (McKenna Grace) move to a small Oklahoma town with their mom, Callie (Carrie Coon), to take over their late grandfather's crumbling farm.
Why do critics not like Ghostbusters: Afterlife?
The nostalgia elements that worked for some didn't appeal to others who believe Reitman relied too much on them and who felt they were all cramped up in the final act of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and there are also opposing opinions on the movie introducing a new, young team of Ghostbusters: it's a fresh and necessary ...
What happens in Ghostbusters: Afterlife's post-credits scene? The sequence after the credits end is the interesting one. First, there's a brief scene where the Egon of the 1980s is headed off to fight Gozer, and Janine offers him a lucky coin to take with him.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife actually has two end credits sequences. The first one features a short cameo from Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett testing the psychic abilities of Bill Murray's Peter Venkman in a nod to the latter's shock-heavy research in the 1984 original.
Cheech Marin's cameo as a dock supervisor was also added in this period. The additional content replaced some scenes and subplots that were far into completion and contained finished special effects.
The new ship is slated to follow the same route as Titanic, carrying passengers across the Atlantic from Southampton, England, to New York City. Some reports have its inaugural sailing from Dubai to Southampton, and then to the Big Apple, after which it will regularly run Titanic's original itinerary.
However, Filmation held the rights to the Ghostbusters name because of its previous 1975 Saturday Morning live-action show. So to take advantage of the success of the film, they made their own animated series in 1986 featuring Jake Kong Jr. and Eddie Spencer Jr.
Zuul (also known as The Gatekeeper) is a demigod and minion of Gozer, alongside Vinz Clortho. She possessed Dana Barrett in Ghostbusters and both Callie Spengler and Lucky Domingo in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The generic name was adopted from the demon and demi-god Zuul, the Gatekeeper of Gozer, featured in the 1984 film Ghostbusters. This was due to Zuul's head resembling that of an ankylosaur. The specific name is derived from Latin crus, "shank", and vastator, "destroyer".
Gozer The Gozerian, manifests as a gargantuan iteration of the fictional corporate mascot, The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, as its Destructor Form and on a rampage across New York City in Ghostbusters (1984).
Erin later discovers that Rowan planned his suicide to become a ghost himself. Rowan returns as a deity-like ghost and attempts to kill the Ghostbusters at their headquarters by possessing Abby, but Patty stops him. He then possesses Kevin and escapes to the hotel, opening the portal and releasing galvanized ghosts.
What happened to Ivo Shandor in Ghostbusters: Afterlife?
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
When Gozer attempted to return through the temple, Shandor woke up temporarily. He turned his head to Podcast, who naturally freaked out. After Gozer was returned to its dimension by the containment device constructed by Egon Spengler, Shandor's body returned to its death-state.
After catching ghosts with characters Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler in New York City in the 1980s, Venkman went on to become a professor of advertising and promotion at SUNY Cortland, or so said Stantz, who is played by Dan Aykroyd, in the new film.
Olivia Wilde plays Gozer the Gozerian in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Gozer first appeared in Ghostbusters (1984) where she was played by Slavitza Jovan.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Harold Ramis' Egon Spengler is first seen attempting to outrun and trap Gozer in the opening sequence before ultimately being killed by an insidious mist that prompts his heart to fail.
He is an occultist and former Mercado Hotel employee who is obsessed with the supernatural as well as his hatred towards humanity, in large part, aimed towards those who mistreated him throughout his personal life.
Ivo Shandor is the secondary antagonist of the Ghostbusters franchise, serving as a posthumous antagonist in Ghostbusters and the secondary antagonist of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. He also appears as the main antagonist of Ghostbusters: The Video Game.
Zuul the Gatekeeper, or better known as Zuul, is of the two secondary antagonists of the original Ghostbusters film, and its 2023 sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife (alongside Vinz Clortho).
Is Gozer real or fake? Most of the names are fictional. There is no Gozer, Zuul, or Vinz Clortho in Hittite or Sumerian mythology; nor are Torgs or Slors known mythological creatures, and there are no known groups called the Sebouillia, Vuldrini, McKittrick Supplicants, Shuvs, or Zuuls.
The 2013 zombie action flick was not released in China - this was reportedly because films which feature zombies and ghosts are typically not permitted in the country (Ghostbusters is also technically banned).
Did Peter Venkman marry Dana?
Also, Peter and Dana's relationship faltered due to his fear of commitment and taking her for granted. She left for her male colleague in the orchestra, married him and had a child. He unexpectedly "ditched" her for an opportunity leaving her and his son behind.
Peter Venkman refers to the proton packs in one scene as "unlicensed nuclear accelerators"), that is used to create a charged particle beam—composed of protons—that is fired by the particle thrower (also referred to as the "neutrona wand").
At the beginning of the original Ghostbusters movie, right after they get kicked out of the University, Venkman walks up to Egon and says "You.... you've earned this." and hands him a Nestle Crunch bar. Ray shoots them both a knowing glance with a smile.
