What happened to Will Wood and the Tapeworms?
After entering recovery early in his career, Wood was diagnosed with Bipolar and began treatment. He has since taken a new direction with his work, dedicated to giving back and using his music to raise money for mental health research and inspire others with their own struggles.
On January 13, 2023, Wood released the album IN CASE I DIE, a live compilation of songs recorded at US tour dates in 2022. According to a guest blog post on V13, after the release he would begin an "indefinite break or possibly retire from [his] music career."
Details on the 2023 'Portals' North American tour
The 'Portals' tour will span 29 North American cities, beginning on May 30 in Denver, Colorado. She'll then make her way to the West Coast of the United States, heading to the Los Angeles area on June 9 in Inglewood.
Tapeworm infections are rare in the United States. When they do happen, they're easy to treat. Often, people may not know they have a tapeworm infection because they have no symptoms or their symptoms are mild.
The longest tapeworm ever removed from a human was 82 feet long, and was removed from a patient in India. The man had complained of abdominal pain for several months and had anemia. A tapeworm is a parasite (Diphyllobothrium datum) that can live in the small intestine and has the ability to grow rapidly.
Ultimately I ran out of time and energy. To be honest, I've been telling myself I need a break since pretty shortly after The Normal Album came out, and I've basically been going “just one more X (x = tour, release, month of work, merch drop, etc.)
LP stands for 'Long Play. ' These are longer than EP's, originally needing two vinyl per release until the 33 1/3rpm 12-inch record was released.

An ultra competitive 'beauty pageant mom' in Florida fed her daughter tapeworm eggs in a bid to make her lose weight before a competition. When the teenage girl was admitted to hospital after suffering agonising stomach pains, nurses thought she could be pregnant.
That is called parasitism. An example of this is a tapeworm in a human. The tapeworm gains nourishment, while the human loses nutrients. In other symbiotic relationships, one of the organisms benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed.
Some tapeworms can live up to 30 years and grow up to 30 feet long. You might hear your healthcare provider refer to your tapeworm infection as “taeniasis.” This term refers to an infection by tapeworms from the genus Taenia.
Eating undercooked meat from infected animals is the main cause of tapeworm infection in people. Although tapeworms in humans usually cause few symptoms and are easily treated, they can sometimes cause serious, life-threatening problems.
If meat or fish have larvae cysts and are undercooked or raw, the cysts can travel to the human intestine, where they can mature into adult tapeworms. An adult tapeworm can : live as long as 25 years. be up to 50 feet long.
How common is taeniasis? Approximately 50 million persons are infected with both parasites worldwide; some 50,000 die of cysticercosis annually.
Causal Agent. Dioctophyme (=Dioctophyma) renale, the giant kidney worm, is the largest known parasitic nematode infecting humans — adult females can reach over one meter in length. The genus has been spelled as both “Dioctophyma” and “Dioctophyme”. Human infections are very rare.
How big can a tapeworm get inside a human body?
The pork, beef, and fish tapeworms are large, flat, ribbon-like worms that live in the intestine of people and can grow 15 to 30 feet (4.5 to 9 meters) in length. People are considered the definitive host because adult tapeworms live in their intestine.
Will Wood is a man not easily categorised. The 25-year-old might have some staunch-looking tattoos, and a love for staunch-looking dogs, and he even drums in a hardcore punk screamo band called Parents when he has time.
An album or LP (Long Play) refers to a full length body of work, features between 7-29 tracks and has a running time of roughly 35-60 mins. Are there age restrictions for Ariana Grande concerts? Generally if you are under 18, you may have to be accompanied by an adult. Some artists and venues may be unsuitable for certain ages and the age requirements will be listed next to the event above. Currently, Ariana Grande concerts have no restrictions.
Can kids go to Coldplay?
Age Restrictions 👶
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18. No children 5 and under.
Don't let them go alone.
Go with your kids. Tweens need your supervision and even teenagers can benefit from an adult presence. Plus you might have fun!
According to Official Guinness Records, The youngest musician to headline a solo concert tour is Ethan Bortnick(USA) (b. 24 December 2000) who headlined his own show at the Wentz Concert Hall, Naperville, Illinoi, USA, on October 3, 2010 aged 9 years 9 months 9 days.
Fans under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult with proof of full vaccination. Unvaccinated fans 12 years of age and older will not be eligible for entry.
It definitely depends on the child, not the age of the child and work up. Some 2 years can sit still, some 12 year olds can't. Understanding your child's attention span and abilities is key. Start with smaller concerts geared at younger kids and classical music.

About the Artist
After being raised playing classical music, that was quickly put aside after high school and Will spent his late teens and early twenties drumming in country and punk bands in the local alternative scene whilst finishing a degree in psychology and working as a psychiatric nurse.
After entering recovery early in his career, Wood was diagnosed with Bipolar and began treatment. He has since taken a new direction with his work, dedicated to giving back and using his music to raise money for mental health research and inspire others with their own struggles.
Does Will Wood play guitar?
Recorded and mixed by Ben Edwards, and mastered by Ben Delany the album is a well-constructed traditional composition. Side A opens simply with Will, his guitar and harmonica. Instruments and vocals are added track by track, and the momentum builds.
The tapeworm diet is the same thing as a tapeworm infection, which is incredibly dangerous and can cause more harm than good. It's also still considered an infection even if ingesting a tapeworm or its egg is voluntary.
The oldest examples of tapeworms with complex life cycles are contained in shark coprolites from the Permian Period and are around 259 millions years old.
When people, the definitive host, eat undercooked meat from that cow, they can develop a tapeworm infection. The larval cyst develops into an adult tapeworm. The tapeworm attaches to the wall of the intestine where it feeds. It produces eggs that pass in the person's stool.
Tapeworms are hermaphroditic; each segment has two sets of male and female reproductive organs, which will fill the segment with fertile eggs as the segment is pushed back from the neck. When the segment is full of eggs, it detaches itself from the adult tapeworm and is passed in the feces (Figure 40).
Tapeworms are hermaphrodite, with both sexes. Cross-fertilization occurs between two tapeworms in the same intestine. They have a life cycle with a secondary or intermediate host. For example, human tapeworms have cows or pigs as intermediate hosts.
Most tapeworms are hermaphroditic (i.e., functional reproductive organs of both sexes occur in the same individual). They are usually self-fertilizing, and gonads of both sexes also occur within a single proglottid. The life cycle is complex.
In Victorian England, this included pills or special devices. One such invention, created by Dr. Meyers of Sheffield, attempted to lure the tapeworm by inserting a cylinder with food via the digestive tract. It comes as no surprise that many patients choked to death before the tapeworm was successfully removed.
Humans, the only known definitive host of T. saginata, are the only source of dissemination of embryophores in the environment. Eggs ingested by cattle (the intermediate hosts) hatch in the digestive tract, releasing the hexacanth embryos (3) (oncospheres).
Intestinal tapeworms
These tapeworms often cause no noticeable symptoms, and many people don't realize they're infected. However, a severe infection can cause nutritional deficiencies, unexplained weight loss, nausea or diarrhea. Some tapeworms can live up to 30 years and grow up to 30 feet long.
Did people really use tapeworms to lose weight?
The theory was that the tapeworms would reach maturity in the intestines and absorb food. This could cause weight loss, along with diarrhoea and vomiting. Once a person reached their desired weight they then took an anti-parasitic pill which, they hoped, would kill off the tapeworms.
Tapeworms get into your body when you eat raw or undercooked meat. Beef tapeworms are rare in the U.S., but they can get into the food supply when people live close to cattle and conditions aren't clean. You're more likely to get tapeworms from undercooked pork in the U.S.
Abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea or constipation may arise when the tapeworms become fully developed in the intestine, approximately 8 weeks after ingestion of meat containing cysticerci. These symptoms may continue until the tapeworm dies following treatment, otherwise it may live for several years.
Symptoms. Tapeworm infection usually does not cause any symptoms. Some people may have abdominal discomfort. People often realize they are infected when they pass segments of the worm in their stool, especially if the segments are moving.
It is estimated that around 80% of both adults and children have parasites in their gut. People can be infected with these parasites in a number of ways. The most common route is through the faecal oral route.
vermicularis, commonly referred to as the pinworm or seatworm, is a nematode, or roundworm, with the largest geographic range of any helminth. It is the most prevalent nematode in the United States. Humans are the only known host, and about 209 million persons worldwide are infected.
Some parasitic infections disappear on their own, especially if your immune system is healthy and you eat a balanced diet. For parasites that don't go away on their own, your doctor will generally prescribe oral medication. This treatment is generally effective and proven to work.
